Week 1: Monday 30 June to Friday 04 July
Week 2: Monday 07 July to Friday 11 July
Week 3: Monday 14 July to Friday 18 July
Week 4: Monday 04 August to Friday 08 August

Camp hours are

9am till 4pm but you may drop off at 8am and pick up at 5pm if you wish.

The cost for a week will be: $333.90 includes GST
Places can be secured by payment in full.

The daily camp routine will include riding, grooming, theory classes and lots of hands on horse and stable care.

All standards of riders are welcome and will be grouped according to age and experience. Riding groups will have a maximum of eight pupils to one instructor.

You will be riding a minimum of once a day with riding periods of usually one hour duration but the trail ride may be longer.

A selection of subjects that may be covered

• Jumping a course, both hunter fences and jumper fences
• Having fun with gymkhana games
• Going trail riding safely
• Learning how to look after your horse, hands on and in the classroom
• Grooming for the show ring including braiding
• Learn about tack preparation and correct show attire
• Veterinary and hoof care

All riding and horse care sessions will be tailored to suit the experience of the campers, whether experienced or beginners.

You will need to bring with you

• a packed lunch
• swimming things
• wet weather gear (just in case)
• riding helmet if you have one if not, we can supply
• boots or stout shoes to ride in
• and a change of clothes if you decide to participate in the water fight!

Our camps are full on, friendly, educational, exhausting, rewarding and HUGE FUN! Be prepared to get filthy, play games, make some new friends, (both human and equine), run around a lot, brush a lot, ride a lot and learn a lot. We can't wait!
